A 5-year institutional healthcare partnership between Turkey and Libya
Libya Ministry of Health — Long-Term Partnership Management
Between 2017 and 2022, I personally managed the full institutional relationship between Birinci Health Group and the Libyan Ministry of Health. This collaboration resulted in the coordinated treatment of hundreds of Libyan patients in Istanbul across multiple medical specialties — making it one of the most sustained ministry-level partnerships in Turkish private healthcare.
Research & Key Activities:
- Official correspondence and bilateral agreement management with Libyan ministry offices
- End-to-end coordination of ministry-sponsored patient referrals and approvals
- Direct on-site visits to Tripoli for ministry negotiations and relationship development
- Financial tracking, invoicing, and payment follow-up for all ministry-related accounts
Problem Statement:
- Ministry-level partnerships require consistent presence, cultural fluency, and institutional trust built over years — not months
- Managing complex approval workflows and payment processes across international borders demands full ownership and accountability
Final Outcome & Impact:
- Sustained 5-year active partnership with uninterrupted patient flow
- Established Birinci Health Group as a trusted destination for Libyan ministry-sponsored patients
